Gaskells are proud to announce we’re now working with Knowsley Council after winning the tender to provide the waste management services for Kirkby Market.
We won the tender for this by working with the team on how we could make the service more efficient and save the market money, which most businesses and organisations are looking to do, particularly after the past 17 months.
Our new hook-lift portable compactor with bin lift has now been installed, which has a pre-full alert system so collection can be arranged when it’s full. It is then collected, and brought back to the site empty. There are also six runner bins on site and as with all our installations of compaction and baling equipment, staff on site at Kirkby Market have been given full training on how to use the staff have been given full training on how to use the equipment.
Our hook-lift portable compactors area great option for businesses looking for an environmentally friendly solution for managing their waste. It maximises capacity, compressing waste, which will reduce the frequency of your waste collections, which in turn will reduce carbon emissions on the roads. It encourages a tidier workplace by reducing the space taken up by waste, and because the units are fully enclosed, there is no leakage, which means they’re safe and clean. We can also tailor the size of out hook-lift portable compactors to suit your business’ needs.
The hook-lift portable compactor is just one part of our range of compaction and baling equipment. We also offer static waste compactors, which are placed in situ permanently with the waste container connected. When the container is full, we collect it and replace it with an empty one, so that can be re-filled, and the process starts again, without any disruption. They can be loaded by hand or with an integral wheelie bin tipper and are suitable for general waste, cardboard and plastics.
If your business creates large volumes of paper, cardboard or plastic waste one of our balers may be a better choice. They compress the waste into a fraction of its original size within seconds, and creates bales which will then be collected, and in time, you could get a return on it. As with our compactors, this will mean fewer trips to your business by out trucks, reducing your carbon footprint and saving costs. Below is our G500V Mill sized baler which is perfect for supermarkets, wholesalers, manufacturers, logistics… any business which produces a high volume of cardboard or plastic waste.
We can supply a range of balers from 40kg up to 500kg capacity, single, or twin chamber balers, which can bale a range of waste materials simultaneously. Upon installation of your Compactor or baler, our expert team will give your staff full training on how to use the equipment and they’ll also receive a certificate of competence. Gaskells also provides all sundry items and ongoing technical support.
