Gaskells are extremely proud to be the headline sponsors of the new Bin It To Win It challenge with our partners Warrington Wolves.
It’s the half time challenge the fans take part in at every home game at the Halliwell Jones stadium. The aim is to kick the ball and chase it from one end of the pitch to the other and get it in a bin, in the fastest time. At the end of the season, the fan who’s clocked up the fastest time will win tickets for the Magic Weekend, the Challenge Cup Final, and a season ticket for next year.
This move is strengthening our partnership with Warrington Wolves and will boost our presence around the club. While the challenge is ongoing, it will be shown on the big screen and other TVs around the Halliwell Jones stadium with both our branding, via a ‘Gaskells Cam’. It’s also raising awareness of the importance of recycling and the work we do in a way which is engaging, and fun for the fans. The Gaskells Bin It To Win It is the first in a long line of initiatives and campaigns we’ll be working with Warrington Wolves on as our partnership moves forward.
For the launch of the Gaskells Bin It to Win It, we decided to do something a bit different, by getting our Cheshire Contracts Manager Natalie to get her trainers on and have a go. It wasn’t just that simple though, we put her up against Warrington Wolves Head Coach Steve Price, Warrington legend Lee Briers, and Warrington First team player Declan Patton. The whole challenge was live-streamed on our Facebook page, and it’s safe to say chivalry went out of the window. Declan was crowned champion, completing the challenge in a very respectable 31 seconds.
Richard Mathers, Business Development Executive at Warrington Wolves said “We’re working together with Gaskells to come up with different and innovative ways to bring this partnership to life, it’s not just a contract, it is us truly working together, and this is just the start. Really good fun, really good way to engage with our fans and members, and there’s lots more to come in the future.”
Denise Banks, Commercial Director at Gaskells said “This demonstrates our commitment to making this a true partnership with Warrington Wolves, which is a very important part of what Gaskells is all about. We’re really looking forward to seeing our name on the screens around the Halliwell Jones, and are delighted the first fans Gaskells Bin It To Win it will be on Good Friday at one of the biggest games of the season, the derby against Widnes. We’re extremely proud to be working with Warrington Wolves, and looking forward to more exciting times ahead.”
