Cheers! Gaskells Raises a glass to Shropshire Festivals after being awarded prestigious contract.
Gaskells are delighted to be working with Shropshire Festivals as the preferred waste management provider for all their festivals, after winning the contract earlier this year.
It’s all down to the hard work of our team, particularly Karl, who’s built up a great relationship with Zero Waste Events and Shropshire Festivals. Gaskells are now the sole waste providers on site, providing all the glass and general waste bins, with Zero Waste Events dealing with the card themselves. Everything is segregated at source on site, which minimises cross contamination, maximises space, and enables waste to be recycled quickly and efficiently.
So far, in 2017, Gaskells have been on site at the Telfood Feastival, and Shropshire Oktoberfest, which were both attended by thousands of people, and were fantastic. Shropshire Oktoberfest even provided us with our very own beer glasses, meaning we were able to try a sample..or two!
Up next, Gaskells will be on site at Shrewsbury Winter Festival in December, and we’re already looking ahead to next year’s Kidsfest and Food Festivals in Telford and Shrewsbury.
Gaskells are proud to be onboard with Shropshire Festivals and Zero Waste Events, and are looking forward to a successful and lengthy partnership. This also highlights Gaskells ever expanding operation, and enhances our already strong presence in Shropshire.
