Gaskells are proud to announce we’re supporting this years James Bulger Memorial Trust Black Tie and Tiara Ball, which is taking place at the Crowne Plaza Hotel in Liverpool on Saturday the 17th of March.

Confirmed acts performing on the night are Amelia Lily, (X Factor and Celebrity Big Brother), 90s boy band 911, Lydia Lucy (The Voice) and Liverpool’s Gary Barker. There’s a drinks reception, three course meal, a special chocolate box raffle, a full night’s entertainment, and an auction, with some great prizes up for grabs.

Gaskells are extremely proud to be supporting the Ball, as the money raised goes to the James Bulger Memorial Trust. The Trust was set up by James’ mum Denise Fergus to help young people who’ve been victims of crime, bereavement or bullying, by offering them holiday accommodation, cost-free travel, and support.

Another reason Denise set up the James Bulger Memorial Trust is so people would remember her son in a positive way, as she does: “a beautiful little boy with the big sparkling smile and the blonde hair that bounced as he ran everywhere at breakneck speed.”

This is the fourth year the Black Tie and Tiara Ball has taken place and is marking what would’ve been James’ 28th birthday. It coincides with the launch of Denise’s book  “I Let Him Go”, which is her story of how one split second changed her life forever.

25 years since her son was so cruelly taken away from her Denise has also opened her home to Trevor McDonald. You can see the full 60 minute documentary James Bulger, A Mother’s Story on ITV this Thursday (8th February) at 9pm.

Tickets for the Black Tie and Tiara Ball are now on sale. To find out more, click on the link below.
