We are absolutely over the moon to announce we’re finalists for Environmental Business of the Year at this year’s Echo Environment Awards.

This is the first time Gaskells have entered any awards, as we’ve been quietly getting on with doing what we do, but there comes a time when you want to start shouting about your achievements, and we’re extremely proud the judges recognised our achievements, and we’ve made the final two. This is a real testament to all the hard work from every single member of our team at Gaskells, and is proof we really DO have the best people.

Commercial Director Denise Banks said “Being finalists is recognition for all our hard work over the past 12 months, which has included us achieving Carbon Neutral status, being awarded FORS Bronze, along with the incredible growth of the business, which means more businesses, schools, organisations and events are using us than ever before. I’d like to say a big thank you to all our staff, and customers.”

We’re also proud to be sponsoring the Sustainable School Award at this year’s ceremony. It’s being held at The Isla Gladstone Conservatory next month, and will be hosted by Diane Oxberry from BBC Northwest Tonight.
